Whispering Pines is a community of over 1,300 beautiful homes built around magnificent golf courses and sequestered among six sparkling lakes with thousands of stately long and short leaf Pine trees, colorful Dogwood, Azaleas, and Hollies. There are over 300 lakefront homes and lakeside properties on six pristine lakes, including Pine Lake, Shadow Lake, Whisper Lake, Spring Valley Lake, Thagard's Lake and Fly Rod Lake. All the lakes are owned by the Village and are for use of the residents, property owners and their guests. Lake access areas are available for all lakes and all are stocked with bass and bream. Village residents have access to any of the lakes and lakefront lots have private docks. All but Thagard’s Lake are restricted to electric motors and sailboats, helping to preserve the integrity of the lakes. |
